Ask Baby! When Babies Talk, They Talk
Wow, what a fascinating month this has been—learning so much talking to you, baby Isabella! Hope you are enjoying this, too. Back to our 4-8 month old little friend (who One Sassy Doctor must add, is getting a bit into this Hollywood act and put on a ball gown for us today – complete with heels.)
OSD: So, baby Isabella, when does cooing start?
I: Well, I probably have cooed for you already. I’m getting better and better at it. I traditionally start to repeat sounds I hear as early as this phase of my little life. Cooing is my way of repeating sounds and trying to talk to you. Hey, grownups of the world, remember I’m talking here.
OSD: Okay, the question we’re just dying to ask you here at Sassy Baby Toys—what do you like to play with?
I: Well, if you stick me in front of something I don’t like to play with, I really don’t have a choice, do I? I can’t scoot myself over and move away from the toy! So, it’s really considerate that Sassy wants to know what I like! I like variety—like things turning around me or slowly spinning. I like a spiced up version of those first month toys, with wavier lines and maybe a little noise inside. Rattles are an absolute joy for me—as are rings and keys that I can start holding in my hand as I move through the bright colors.
