Parenting is exhausting! There are so many responsibilities – some fun, some not so fun – that go into life as a parent. No matter how tired we were after long work days and poopie diapers, we always had one sacred “zen” moment in our house: snuggle time.
Every night before bed, all of the kids pile into our bed, and we talk about our day, making sure each of the four have some “special time” with each of us—even for a few moments—while we roll around and cuddle. From the bottom of my heart, I believe this is the number one most important key to success in parenting, taking that moment each day to enjoy physical closeness—a moment of “ahhhhhh”—and enjoying those little pooksters.
Snuggles need no special equipment, no training and can happen anywhere. It’s free! It’s delicious! And it’s super duper important and good for your children.
